Hopkinton Rec Department Event: Murder Mystery Dinner

You Are Invited to Attend a Mafia-style Wedding Murder Mystery Dinner

What:  Death of a Gangster Murder Mystery Dinner 

Attend the Dunn Speakeasy for the wedding of the year where an unexpected murder will put your mystery solving skills to the test.  You’ll have fun by gathering information, trading clues with your guests and solving the crime before the masked menace gets away! Get ready for a glamorous evening of mystery, intrigue, and murder.  

Where:  The magical and mysterious evening will be held at the Slusser Center which will be transformed for the evening into the Mafia wedding of the year venue.   

When:  Saturday, September 17, 2022 -  5-8:30 pm.  

Cocktails & appetizers: 5-5:45 pm  

Dinner: 6 pm 

Show: 6:30 pm  

Dress:  Dress like the cat's meow for this 1920's event. Flapper dresses, zoot suits, feather boas, pinstriped suits, fedoras, and headbands are all appropriate, as are traditional wedding apparel for this high-class Mafia wedding.   

Complimentary WhistlePig Rye Whiskey Tastings: Available on site from 5-6 pm  

Dinner: Your special evening will include a delicious 3-course meal including dessert.  There will be a cash bar and specialty drinks of the evening.  

Cash Only Bar: serving wine, beer, and themed mixed drinks  

Participation:  For those interested and willing to participate as suspects, a small number of guests will have the chance to have a more active role in the murder mystery.  Participants will be selected upon arrival and provided with assignments.  

Tickets:  $60 per person for Hopkinton residents ($70 non-residents) covers dinner, WhistlePig tasting and entertainment.  Adult drinks are not included in the ticket price.   Note that attendees must be at least 21 years older to attend.

Reservations will close on Sept. 3.  We will keep a waiting list so contact the Rec Dept. if we fill up and you are interested in coming.
